As a UX Designer Manager, you will lead the charge in developing innovative software solutions within our Software and Product Innovation group. You will focus on designing, coding, and testing applications that transform industries and deliver exceptional user experiences. As a Manager, you will motivate, develop, and inspire your team to deliver quality results. You will be responsible for coaching and leveraging team members' unique strengths to meet client expectations. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Manila, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will analyze and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system, and develop skills outside your comfort zone while encouraging others to do the same. By embracing technology and innovation, you will enhance your delivery and encourage your team to follow suit. This position offers the opportunity to work within our Internal Firm Services practice, contributing to the success of our firm by identifying opportunities and maintaining professional and technical standards.
Responsibilities
- Leading the design and development of innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation and enhance user experiences
- Managing and mentoring teams to deliver quality software products that meet client expectations
- Analyzing system components to identify interactions and optimize software performance
- Overseeing project planning, budgeting, execution, and completion to achieve successful outcomes
- Collaborating with team leadership to maintain collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables
- Encouraging skill development and innovation within the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Utilizing application development frameworks and methodologies to streamline software development processes
- Addressing and resolving conflicts or issues with clients and team members, escalating when necessary
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including adherence to the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements
- Applying analytical thinking and business process management to improve software design and functionality
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 6 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
