Role Overview
As a UI/UX Designer Intern, you will support the design of intuitive, user-centered interfaces for our AI-powered healthcare products. You will work with product managers, engineers, and internal stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into user flows, wireframes, and clean interface designs.
This role is ideal for someone who has a strong sense of aesthetics, is comfortable with AI-assisted design tools, and enjoys solving practical product problems.
Core Responsibilities
User Understanding & Workflow Mapping
- Gather and clarify requirements from internal teams and external user use cases.
- Convert requirements into clear user journeys, workflow diagrams, and task flows.
UI/UX Design
- Produce wireframes, low-fi/high-fi mockups, and prototypes for web or mobile interfaces.
- Apply strong aesthetic judgment and design fundamentals to create clean, modern, user-friendly designs.
AI-Assisted Workflow
- Use AI tools to accelerate idea generation, exploration, and design refinement.
- Leverage LLMs or design-AI tools to support rapid prototyping and iteration.
Collaboration & Implementation Support
- Work with engineers to ensure design intentions are clearly translated.
- Contribute to existing design patterns and maintain visual consistency.
Requirements - Fundamental
- Demonstrate strong academic excellence (Minimal GPA: 4.0/5 or 3.4/4)
- Strong design foundation with a good aesthetic sense and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using Figma or similar design tools.
- Ability to convert ambiguous requirements into structured flows and wireframes.
- Ability to communicate design rationale clearly.
- Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., for prototyping, ideation, UX writing, or asset generation).
- Arts background or training is a strong plus (visual arts, design, illustration, fine arts).
Requirements - Bonus
- Experience with user research or usability feedback (even in school projects).
- Exposure to designing dashboards, workflow tools, or web apps.
- Interest in healthcare, enterprise software, or AI interfaces.
- A portfolio that shows process thinking and clean execution.
