The Location
You will be based in either Chiang Mai or Bangkok on a hybrid schedule, with 3 days in the office per week. Our Chiang Mai HQ offers a creative, international working environment in one of Thailand's most livable cities, while our Bangkok office provides access to a dynamic business and tech hub. Bangkok-based team members may occasionally visit Chiang Mai HQ for team collaboration.
About the Role
We are seeking for a Junior or Mid-level UX/UI Designer, who is Thai, motivated, curious and practical to join our growing design team. Our design workflow increases using AI-assisted tools to speed up exploration, improve communication, and enhance design quality.
This is a hands-on role where you will collaborate with designers, developers, project managers, and clients to create intuitive and visually appealing digital experiences. You'll work closely with senior designers and project teams, receiving feedback and mentorship while gradually taking ownership of larger design tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with fellow designers, developers, project managers, and other cross-functional team members to design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications
- Support client communication alongside senior team members, helping to understand project goals, clarify requirements, and ensure designs meet client needs
- Participate in user research and usability testing, with guidance from senior team members when needed, and apply insights to design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and mockups to communicate and iterate on design concepts
- Support the development and maintenance of design guidelines, design systems, and component libraries
- Use AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools to accelerate ideation, UX writing, research synthesis, problem-solving, and design workflows
- Stay current with emerging design trends, tools, and AI capabilities
What We're Looking For
Design Skills
- Solid understanding of core UX/UI design principles: layout, typography, color, hierarchy, and usability
- Ability to translate requirements into clear wireframes, user flows, and polished UI designs
- A portfolio that demonstrates your design thinking, problem-solving process, and ability to move from requirements to polished design
- Ability to explain design decisions clearly and receive feedback constructively
Tools
- Working proficiency in Figma (required), including components, auto layout, prototyping, and design systems
- Familiarity with other design or prototyping tools is a plus
AI Literacy
- Basic understanding of how AI tools work and how they can support design workflows
- Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar for ideation, content generation, UX writing, or problem-solving
- Openness to learning and adopting new AI-powered tools as they emerge
- A practical mindset about using AI as a support tool while maintaining strong design judgment
Soft Skills & Other
- Fluency in English (essential for working with our international clients and team)
- Good communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working in cross-functional teams
- Eager to learn, self-motivated, and proactive in seeking feedback
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred but not required if you have the right portfolio and practical experience
