UX Designer (B2B SaaS)

Role Overview

Join our distributed product team to drive design efficiency and user experience excellence across our integrated platform. You will collaborate across time zones with engineering, product, and quant teams spanning multiple locations to deliver cohesive, professional interfaces for sophisticated energy market professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Design Systems & Process Efficiency

• Implement and maintain unified design systems across multiple platform codebases
• Create and document reusable component libraries and design tokens accessible to distributed development teams
• Establish efficient design workflows that reduce time-to-market for new features across different locations
• Collaborate with engineering teams in various time zones to ensure consistent implementation

Platform Evolution & Optimization

• Design and iterate on user interfaces for clean energy price intelligence tools
• Support BESS (Battery Energy Storage) product expansion using proven design patterns from existing wind and solar solutions
• Conduct usability testing and optimize user workflows based on data and feedback
• Ensure consistent, professional user experience across all product areas

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work effectively with distributed product managers, engineers, and domain experts across multiple time zones
• Participate in agile development processes, design reviews, and remote collaboration sessions
• Support product evolution initiatives across portfolio management, pricing, and analytics tools
• Coordinate design deliveries with teams in Europe and the US

Market-Centric Design

• Help evolve platform organization around markets (geographic regions) rather than features
• Design interfaces that align with how professional traders and asset owners think about market intelligence
• Support information architecture improvements for better discoverability and user flow

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience in digital product design, preferably B2B SaaS or financial services
• Strong proficiency in Figma.
• Strong data visualisation skills
• Rapid prototyping & validation
• Ability to defend design decisions and advocate for the user.
• Able to present design and talk through rationale with diverse group of stakeholders
• Understanding of responsive design principles and modern UI patterns
• Excellent asynchronous communication skills and ability to document design decisions clearly
• Experience working closely with engineering teams in agile environments

Preferred Experience

• Background in energy, financial services, trading platforms, or complex B2Bsoftware
• Designing for data-heavy applications or analytics dashboards
• Familiarity with design system implementation and component libraries
• Experience with user research and usability testing methodologies
• Experience coordinating design work across multiple remote development teams
