DescriptionKey Responsibilities
- User Experience Strategy & Planning
- Evaluate current competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for compelling customer experiences.
- Analyze emerging trends and forecasts in related fields to inform design direction and strategic roadmaps.
- Support in creating or refining user experience frameworks for initiative-level projects.
- Lead design definition activities and present concepts and solutions to project and business stakeholders.
2. Design Creation & Execution
- Create complex, comprehensive user experience designs such as interface comps, visual design specifications, and prototypes.
- Define design methodologies, leveraging competitive audits and secondary research to inform solutions.
- Manage design, prototyping, and specification documentation from concept through implementation.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead medium-sized, diverse, cross-functional UX projects (e.g., new checkout systems) from conception to delivery.
- Coordinate activities with all UE functions (Design, Architecture, Writing, Prototyping) and Research (market and user research) teams.
- Partner with Product Management to ensure design feasibility, usability, and alignment with project objectives.
4. Process Improvement & Knowledge Sharing
- Support continuous improvement of UX tools, processes, and documentation.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders and benchmark against industry best practices to recommend improvements.
- Promote consistency and scalability in design practices across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interactive Design, Visual Communication, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of professional design experience (in product design, design agency, or related environment), including at least 1 year of hands-on UI/UX design experience.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Zeplin, etc.).
- Having certifications from Nielsen-Norman Group or General Assembly or Interactive Design Foundation, or other accredited UX programs is preferred
- Strong strategic thinking with an ability to connect user needs to business goals.
- Proven experience managing medium-sized, cross-functional design projects.
- Expertise in user-centered design methodologies, usability testing, and research integration.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for cross-team and leadership engagement.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools.
