About the Company
The company is a fast-growing digital partner for dental practices and small dental groups in the U.S. We build conversion-driven websites, run high-performance Google Ads, and ship patient-centric experiences—fast. Our north star: move the customer experience and outcomes forward every week. If you love designing clean, modern interfaces that actually drive results (not just win design awards), you’ll thrive here.
The Role
We’re hiring a UI/UX Designer who can turn insights into beautiful, accessible, high-performing web experiences for dental patients. You’ll collaborate closely with our Web Dev team (Webflow-based) and Client Services to research, prototype, ship, test, and iterate. This is a hands-on, client-aware role where you’ll own the end-to-end design process—from discovery to final handoff—while keeping speed and quality in balance.
What You’ll Do
- Own page & flow design: Create wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and interactive prototypes in Figma for service pages, location pages, landing pages, and new site builds.
- Design systems: Build and maintain component libraries, tokens, and layout patterns that scale across many dental brands while feeling bespoke.
- Patient-first UX: Translate patient needs (anxiety reduction, clarity, trust) into intuitive IA, strong content hierarchy, and clear CTAs that drive bookings.
- CRO mindset: Use best-practice heuristics and basic analytics (GA4/Hotjar) to propose hypotheses, run lightweight A/B tests, and iterate for conversion lift.
- Accessibility & performance: Design to WCAG 2.1 AA principles, mobile-first, fast-loading layouts; partner with devs to ensure fidelity in Webflow.
- Client collaboration: Join select client calls (as needed) to present rationale, gather feedback, and translate business goals into design decisions.
- Handoff with clarity: Provide dev-ready specs, responsive behaviors, micro-interactions, and content guidelines; review builds and own QA for visual polish.
- Rapid iteration: Work in short cycles, ship weekly improvements, and document learnings so the team can move faster next time.
What Great Looks Like
- Taste + rigor: You balance modern, understated aesthetic with real-world usability and conversion goals.
- Systems thinker: You see patterns, create reusable components, and keep brand consistency without sacrificing freshness.
- Outcomes-driven: You care about booked appointments, not just “nice UI.” You measure, learn, and improve.
- Collaborative & proactive: You surface risks early, offer options, and make the people around you better.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 2–4+ years designing responsive websites or product interfaces (agency or in-house).
- Figma expert (auto-layout, variants, components, page flows, prototyping).
- Strong grasp of UX fundamentals: IA, content hierarchy, usability heuristics, mobile patterns.
- Solid understanding of HTML/CSS constraints (you don’t have to code, but you design for reality).
- Portfolio with live sites or prototypes demonstrating clean visual systems, accessible design, and measurable outcomes (conversion or UX improvements).
- Excellent written & spoken English; confident presenting design decisions.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Webflow (or close collaboration with Webflow devs).
- Familiarity with GA4, Hotjar/Clarity, and lightweight A/B testing.
- Knowledge of dental/healthcare patient journeys (new patient scheduling, insurance FAQs, emergency intent).
- Comfort with basic UX writing (microcopy, headings, CTAs) that clarifies and converts.
- Understanding of SEO-informed layout (semantic structure, internal linking, content modules).
What You’ll Gain
- Real ownership: Your designs go live quickly and impact patient bookings within days—not quarters.
- Growth path: Clear opportunities to expand into Design Lead, Design Ops, or Product/Brand System ownership.
- Velocity & craft: A culture that ships weekly, then refines—quality and speed are both non-negotiable.
- Tight partnership: Work daily with Web Dev (Webflow) and Client Services to deliver best-in-class patient experiences.
