JOB DESCRIPTION

User Interface Design & Support

• Gather and evaluate business needs and user requirements.
• Synthesize findings to inform UI design decisions.
• Ensure UI specifications align with business goals and user expectations.
• Review user research to identify enhancement opportunities.
• Define technical specifications and delivery platform requirements.

UI Architecture & Strategy

• Lead the design of UI components to ensure consistency with product concepts.
• Develop processes incorporating industry standards and UI best practices.
• Translate content and layout requirements into intuitive, responsive UI experiences.
• Design interface layers that adhere to brand guidelines and design standards.
• Ensure UIs visually follow the intended user experience flows created by UX designers.
• Review and enhance style guides for consistent design language.
• Recommend emerging technologies and methodologies for UI innovation.
• Build and program UI elements to support specific product functions.

Usability Testing & Implementation

• Develop UI prototypes to test interactions and workflows.
• Oversee usability testing to validate UI effectiveness.
• Monitor implementation to ensure final UIs match design specifications.
• Prepare documentation for UI implementation and compliance.
• Evaluate how well UI designs meet user needs and business requirements.
• Recommend design modifications based on usability insights.

UI Optimization & Continuous Improvement

• Analyze UI performance using defined indicators and propose improvements.
• Lead UI design audits to maintain quality and consistency.
• Develop solutions for UI issues and design challenges.
• Establish frameworks for quantitative UI analysis.
• Analyze audit results and drive improvements across the product.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, HCI, Multimedia, Computer Science (with design electives), or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of UI design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design tools.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, layout principles, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience working with or contributing to a design system.
• Ability to create high‑fidelity UI designs and interactive prototypes.
• Strong visual design skills, including typography, color, and layout.
• Ability to translate UX requirements and wireframes into intuitive UI designs.
• Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fluent Design (Fluent 1 or 2) is an added advantage.
• Adaptable, proactive, and able to work in fast‑moving environments.
