Involve in early project set up with Art Directors, FX Art Lead and Tech Lead like kick off, testing and documentation.
Collaborate with Studio TAs during projects’ timeline to tackle any related tech issues between Lighting and VFX teams and other departments.
Be the bridge and main point of contact between art production and clients on any technical issues
Day-to-day tasks:
Review technical documentation from client, setup version control solution and game build.
Create clear and accurate technical documentations regarding VFX & Lighting production for the artists.
Support of project art teams on any technical issues (on art software, plugins, scripts, ...).
Create quality check list that aligns with client's expectation and help the team to follow that.
Review and give feedback to artists regarding technical settings and optimization.
Creation of basic automation scripts and small tools to increase production efficiency
Supporting producers and art team leaders in planning deployment of tools.
Spending partially their time on R&D activities, exploring new technologies and doing necessary trainings for the team together with Art Directors, Lead and Experts.
Qualifications
Familiarity with the game art pipeline in Unreal, Unity or a comparable modern game engine
Understanding of physically based rendering (PBR), lighting and shading is a plus.
Understanding in creating special effects, optimizing FX in real time is a plus.
Knowledge of revision control systems, such as Perforce, Git, SVN is a plus.
Knowledge of Python, C++ (Unreal and/or general), HLSL, DCC scripting is a plus
Unreal visual scripting experience using Blueprint or other is a plus
Experience with middleware such as Houdini, Maya, SpeedTree, Simplygon, FaceFX, Allegorithmic Substance, etc. is a plus.

Good in written and spoken English, able to clearly communicate ideas and technical knowledge
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges.
Do play video games.
Participated in or shipped one or more games as a technical artist is a plus
