We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer II (L9) to support the design team for Coach, a core global platform where restaurant general managers keep track of critical tasks, deployment charts, action plans related to their restaurant, in coordination with brand partners.
This is a high-impact senior IC role responsible for shaping experience strategy and execution across a complex operational system that must scale across brands, markets, and regulatory contexts. You’ll work with autonomy, partner deeply with Product and Engineering, and drive clarity through ambiguity—while remaining hands-on in design delivery.
This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in systems-heavy, data-rich environments, can independently frame and solve complex problems, and influences outcomes across multiple teams—without needing portfolio-wide or executive-level ownership.
As a Senior Product Designer II (L9), you will:
Co-lead experience strategy and design execution supporting our Coach platform across multiple initiatives and workstreams, from discovery through delivery
Independently frame complex, ambiguous problems involving data models, workflows, permissions, and global operational constraints
Design scalable, system-aware solutions that balance usability, flexibility, and technical feasibility across brands and regions
Partner deeply with Product, Engineering, Data, and Operations to align on priorities, tradeoffs, and delivery plans
Translate business and operational needs into clear experience direction, interaction models, and end-to-end flows
Influence design quality and decision-making across adjacent teams through critique, collaboration, and shared patterns
Contribute to the evolution of shared frameworks, interaction models, or system patterns where gaps exist
Communicate design rationale clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, adapting your narrative to context and stakes
This role operates with minimal supervision and is reviewed primarily at strategic checkpoints—not for day-to-day direction.
5+ years of experience in product, UX, or systems design (or equivalent practical experience)
Proven track record of leading complex design initiatives independently in a product environment
Strong experience designing data-heavy, workflow-driven, or operational tools
Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Product and Engineering on complex systems
Excellent communication skills—able to articulate strategy, tradeoffs, and rationale with clarity
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing platforms used across multiple markets, brands, or user roles
Comfort working within or evolving design systems and shared interaction models
Experience facilitating workshops, critiques, or discovery sessions to drive alignment
Familiarity with enterprise or operational domains (e.g., content management, commerce tooling, admin platforms)
